Take a Cool Swim; Polar Plunge to Benefit Special Olympics
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Got the guts? If you do, then its time to prove it at the Third Annual Garden City Polar Plunge and Strut on Saturday February 7th at the “Big Pool” with all the proceeds going to Kansas Special Olympics.
Luke Schulte, Director of Development for Kansas Special Olympics says there are nine locations around the state doing it. Garden City is the only one in Western Kansas. Police officer Brandi Unruh believes if you try this once, you will be hooked.
