Swender: Tuition Increase Determined by Outside Factors
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Last week the Board of Trustees at Garden City Community College approved increases of $4 per credit hour and fees of $2 for next school year. GCCC President Doctor Herbert Swender on why this move was needed as the funding stream gets a bit tighter.
The college has other ways to help students fund their education.
Swender says those programs help mitigate some of the increased cost students face.
