SW Kansas 2017 drought conditions

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Most of Southwest Kansas was in a moderate drought in 2017 according to the Kansas Water Office. Most of Finney County was in a moderate drought, except for the Northwest part of the county, which was abnormally dry. All of Meade County was in a moderate drought, while most of Clark and Haskell County were moderate and parts of Ford and Gray county were moderate as well.
