Summer turnaround
Dodge City, Ks. (westernkansasnews)
It comes as no coincidence that the summer solstice has produced a winning attitude in Dodge City. Following a 2-8 start, the A’s have won five out of their last seven games.
“The one thing we’re getting over the course of these last few games are big hits,” said A’s skipper Michael Robbins. “We know every team in this league is going to be a challenge. They’re going to run out three starters that are going to be pretty good.”
Now the A’s will try and figure out their road woes. Dodge City is 0-5 away from Cavalier Field. They open a three-game set tonight in Eldorado.
