Student Academy Gives Children Understanding of What Police Do
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Next month the Garden City Police Department will hold a seven week course every Saturday called the Student Academy. Police Chief Michael Utz believes children can really benefit from participating.
As far as current interest in applying to become a police officer, Utz is pleased that levels stay high.
Kids interested in the student academy can go through the resource officer at the school they attend.
