Stithem resigns as Cimarron Football Coach (Audio)
Cimarron, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-For the fifth time in just four seasons, Cimarron High School will have a new football coach.
Jason Stithem, who left Garden City to take the head coaching job with the Blue Jays last Spring, officially resigned on Wednesday.
“All I can say is that it was over a license deal,” Stithem said. “But I”m very disappointed in the Cimarron school board.”
Assistant Coach Chuck Dirks will replace Stithem.
The Blue Jays finished 6-4 in his lone season.
