Steven “Steve” Bartel

Steven “Steve” Bartel, 60, died Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at his residence in Turpin, OK. 

He was born November 25, 1954 in Perryton, Texas, the son of Van and Dorothy (Purer) Bartel. 
He graduated in 1973 from Balko High School in Balko, Oklahoma. He had also attended Vo-Tech School in Kansas City. 
He enjoyed cars and especially “Mopar” and would meet with his car friends every Thursday for supper.  

He was employed at Anadarko as a Production Tech for many years.

Mother Dorothy Bartel Liberal, KS  

2 Daughters Shanna Jones Bryant, Arkansas 
Rebecca Pauley Vinton, Virginia 

1 Brother Audie Bartel Corpus Christi, Texas 

3 Grandchildren Brooklyne Francisco, Caleb Cunningham, Bailee Pauley. 

He is preceded in death by his Father Van Bartel. 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Ramsey presiding. Burial will be held privately in the Balko Mennonite Brethren Church Cemetery. 

Visitation time will be 1 to 8pm Friday and 9 to 11am Saturday at Brenneman Funeral Home
