State Health Officials Wrap Up Jimmy John’s Investigation
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has concluded their investigation into what caused people who ate at the Garden City Jimmy Johns to become ill several weeks ago. State Epidemiologist Charlie Hunt explains it came from a norovirus.
Health officials now claim 282 people became ill from eating at Jimmy Johns during the time span, 209 of them within 72 hours of being exposed to the Norovirius.
