State Air Tour Lands
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) There was no reason to be alarmed If you noticed a lot of planes landing at the Dodge City airport yesterday. They are part of K-DOT’s air tour highlighting the state’s close ties with aviation.
Airport Director Corey Keller welcomed in 20 airplanes from every era. Pilot Randy Hardy brought a Stearman P-17 1943 Old War Bird.
The tour will continue Tuesday morning with a stop in Scott City.
