Sparked by Low Gas Prices, Big Numbers Are Traveling This Weekend
Topeka, KS (westernkansasnews.com) To put things in perspective here is how gas prices stacked up just a few months ago.
Nationally the average is $2.81 a gallon for regular gas. Jim Hanni with AAA says that means a whopping number of travelers will take advantage of the low prices.
A little more than 4 million or 19 percent of everyone in the region will travel 50 miles or more this Thanksgiving.
