Slippery Roads Blamed For Fatality Accident Saturday
Liberal, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A rollover accident Saturday night shortly after 10:30 in Seward County, three miles west of Liberal has claimed the life of a man from Guymon, Oklahoma. State troopers report the driver lost control of his Ford Explorer on an overpass. Hernandez entered into a skid and then a ditch where his car rolled over multiple times.
There were five other occupants in the vehicle including passenger 35 year old Thay Torres-Ocacio of Guymon. He died from injuries sustained in the wreck. The driver 25 year old Manuel Hernandez also of Guymon and 22 year old Jesus Ponce were both taken to Southwest Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
