Sherree Kaye Smith
Sherree Kaye Smith, age 20, died Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on April 4, 1993 in Pusan, South Korea the daughter of Robert Lee Smith and Su Hui Pak. A resident of Garden City since 2006, she was a student and had worked part time at various local businesses.
Survivors include:
- Father & Step Mother, Robert and Constance Smith of Garden City, Kansas;
- Mother, Su Hui Pak of South Korea;
- One Step-Brother, Theron Kells of Garden City, Kansas;
- One Step-Sister, Ashley Kells of Garden City, Kansas;
- Grandparents, Kaye (& Doyle) Hester of Lubbock, Texas
- Great-Grandmother, Pat Gardiner of Peculiar, Missouri;
- Three Uncles, Todd (& Heather) Smith of Castle Rock, Colorado,
- Jason (& Jenny) Smith of Lithia, Florida and
- EJ (& Alex) Hahn of Scottsbluff, Nebraska;
- Three Aunts, Kendra (& Justin) Spitz of Fort Collins, Colorado,
- Danielle Wheeler of Garden City, Kansas and
- Nicole (& Dion) Stephen of Holcomb, Kansas;
She is also survived by numerous cousins and other relation from the Smith, Gardiner, Hahn & Whitehurst families.
She was preceded in death by a Grandfather, Patrick H. Smith.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City, Kansas.
There will be no calling times.
Memorials may be given to the Finney County Humane Society or to the Sherree Smith Memorial Fund both in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
