Sheriff: Suspected DUI Lands One in Hospital
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Finney County sheriff’s deputies worked a head on collision about 2:30 Sunday morning on US Highway 83, a few miles south of Garden City resulted in one person being taken to St. Catherine Hospital.
A Chrysler van driven by 30 year old Chantry Loewen of Garden City went left of center into the southbound lane and hit a car driven by 17 year old Victoria Olvera-Escamilla. Olvera-Escamilla was transported to the hospital. Three of her passenger escaped injury. Loewen faces DUI and other charges including driving with a suspended license.
