Sharon Springs man killed in single vehicle rollover
Sharon Springs, Kan (WesternKansasNews.Com) – One man is dead following in single car crash in Wallace County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after 2:30 P.M. on Kansas Highway 27, 4.5 miles north of the U-40.
A Chevy truck driven by Loren Luther, 77, was Northbound on K27. The truck left the roadway to the right where the driver overcorrected and went across the road, entering the West ditch.
The driver then overcorrected a second time, causing the vehicle to roll multiple times and eject the driver. The truck came to rest on the roof of the vehicle facing Southeast.
Loren was taken to the hospital where he later died. He was not wearing a seatbelt according to the KHP.
