Seward County Sheriff’s Office makes drug arrest during traffic stop
Seward County, Kan.–The Seward County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a male after a traffic violation early Wednesday monring.
According to the release, a Seward County Sheriff’s Office Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Highway 54 near Kismet for a traffic violation. During the traffic enforcement, the Deputy observed numerous indicators of criminal activity. A subsequent search revealed vacuum-sealed bundles of suspected methamphetamine. The total approximate weight of the methamphetamine located was 45 pounds. A 48-year-old male was taken into custody and lodged in the Seward County Jail in this incident.
