Senator Moran introducing new bills to help farmers

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) U.S. Senator Jerry Moran of Kansas is introducing new bills that will help farmers after disasters. Recent wildfires in Southwest Kansas and across the country drew Moran’s attention to the ineffectiveness of current federal programs to help farmers.

Moran says his new bills need to allow bankers to make loans to farmers after disasters that they believe in.

Moran also weighed in on the farm bill for 2018 and when he thinks it will be approved.
