Senator Moran Says Ending Shutdown Was Right Thing to Do
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) In wrapping up our conversation with US Senator Jerry Moran after last week’s stop in Garden City, Moran says if the goal of the recent government shutdown was to defund Obamacare then ultimately it was going to fail. That is why Moran voted to end the shutdown because of the pain it caused others.
Moran believes Republicans took an awful hit during those three weeks.
Moran for example called it crazy to put up barricades at the outdoor WWII Memorial in Washington simply as a consequence of the shutdown.
