Scott City vollebyall sweeps Ulysses
Ulysses, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–After a 10-day layoff, the Scott City Lady Beaver volleyball team began its busy September schedule Tuesday night at Ulysses, facing the Lady Tigers in a dual format. It was the first of eight scheduled dates of competition in the month of September.
Scott City was able to come away with a three-set sweep of Ulysses, winning 25-19, 25-21, 26-24. With the win, the Lady Beavers improve to 5-3 on the year, while Ulysses drops to 4-3.
Up next for Scott City is a home triangular Thursday afternoon against Hill City and Hoxie. The first match will begin at 4:30 pm with Scott City and Hill City. It will be the first high school volleyball matches played at the new Scott Community Event Center.
Ulysses will face Cimarron in a dual on Thursday.
