Scott City tennis second at Phillipsburg

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Scott City Lady Beaver tennis team finished second on Tuesday at the Phillipsburg quadrangular. Phillipsburg won the meet, while Concordia was third and Norton finished fourth.

On the court, the No. 1 Doubles team of Krystal Appel and Emma Price finished first, the No. 2 Doubles team of Emily Glenn and Karlee Logan finished second, as did Judy Gutierrez at No. 2 Doubles. At No. 1 Singles, Karen Gonzalez finished fourth.

Scott City will host the Scott City Invitational on Monday, September 19.
