Scott City tennis second at Hoisington
Hoisington, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Despite not having a No. 2 Doubles Team, the Scott City tennis team finished in a tie for second place in the Hoisington Invitational on Thursday.
Joe Evans continued his winning ways by going 3-0 on the day and winning No. 1 Singles. It was his third straight undefeated tournament performance. The No. 1 Doubles team of Miles Haire/Christian Wright went 1-2, and finished fourth on tiebreakers, and Isidro Ponce placed fourth, going 0-3 on the day.
The Scott City Invitational scheduled for today has been postponed until Tuesday, April 24 at 3 pm. They were scheduled to compete at the Garden City Invitational on Saturday, but that has also been postponed.
