The Lady Beavers would lead by as many as 43 at 47-4 with 4:32 left in the third quarter. After that the Lady Mustangs went on a 14-0 run over three minutes and trailed 49-18 after three quarters. A running clock was used in the fourth quarter, as Scott City went on a 10-6 fourth quarter run.

Scott City will play Larned Thursday night at Southwestern Heights High School. The Lady Indians knocked off Hugoton 45-32. Colby defeated Goodland 53-30 to advance to the other sub-state semi-final game on Thursday, and will meet up with Cimarron, who rallied for a 50-44 win over Holcomb.
