Santa’s Flight School Now Open for Registration

[Garden City, KS] December 2, 2019 – Garden City Community College is partnering with Finney County Economic Development and Flat Mountain Brewhouse to host Santa’s Flight School, an exclusive, one-night beer-tasting experience!

The event begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019, and includes one flight of beer, one pint of choice from beers available on tap, appetizers, and plenty of fun. Santa’s Flight School will be led by Cody Cundiff, a full-time social science instructor at GCCC, who also serves as Flat Mountain’s multi-talented master brewer.

Cundiff said the class will take place in the restaurant’s basement seating area and is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested to learn more about brewing and beer pairings.

“I’ve always believed that people who say they don’t like beer simply haven’t tried the right one,” Cundiff said. “There are so many styles and variations that go into beer, and I’m excited to share a little about them during Santa’s Flight School.”
