Safety Tips When You Have Car Trouble in Heavily Traveled Areas
(westernkansasnews.com) Two men, one from Garden City and the other from Cimarron died when another driver plowed into them while the victims where on the side of the road after an accident on US 50 late last week. Kirk Hutchinson of KDOT has some tips on how to avoid a tragedy like this one.
One school of thought is you are safer in your vehicle while waiting for help than standing alone. Here’s another thought.
Hutchinson is not implying anyone did something wrong, but he wants the next victim of car trouble to be as safe as possible while waiting for help.
