Ruth Lilian Koontz
Ruth Lilian Koontz, 87, passed away on November 4, 2016 at the Mount Carmel Nursing Home, Kearney Nebraska .
She was born on January 18, 1929 to George and Mary (Richey) Clark in Rural Turpin, Oklahoma.
Ruth graduated from Eureka High School in Bakersburg, Oklahoma on May 14, 1947. She later attended and graduated from the Wichita Business School. Ruth then moved to Sunnyvale, California where she worked and retired from the Ford Motor Company as a foreign buyer of auto parts. Ruth was known for her beautiful smile and was greatly loved by the nursing home staff. Her family will greatly their dear Aunt Ruth.
She is survived by one Sister, Carol Schmitzer of Beaver, OK and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters – Christine Jenkins, JoAnn Allen. Two brothers Donald and Bobby Clark.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, at Miller Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Rex Petty officiating.
Burial will take place at Liberal Cemetery.
