Royals Drop Road Game to Detroit
DETROIT (AP) – Victor Martinez drove in a pair of runs last night in the Detroit Tigers’ 7-5 victory over the Kansas City Royals. Max Scherzer got the win and Jose Valverde returned to the Tigers with a save. Kansas City’s Wade Davis took the loss after giving up seven runs in three-plus innings.
