Rockies unable to hang on to lead late against Philadelphia

Philadelphia (westernkansasnews.com)–After taking a 6-5 lead in the top of the ninth last night, Colorado was unable to hang on to the lead, as Philadelphia scored the winning run on a two-out error to win 7-6. Wilin Rosario drove in three runs for the Rockies, who had the lead three times in the game. Rosario, Michael Cuddyer and Chris Nelson each had a homerun for Colorado. Starter Alex White five runs in 3 2/3 innings pitched. Rafael Betancourt blew the save and took the loss for the Rockies. Colorado looks to avoid the sweep tonight, as Jeff Francis takes the mound for the Rockies, while the Phillies will send Vance Worley to the hill in a 6:05 start in Philadelphia.
