Red Stocking Breakfast to raise money for KCSL on Sunday
GARDEN CITY, KAN. — The Kansas Children’s Service League will host their annual Red Stocking Breakfast on Sunday at the Clarion Inn in Garden City from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The KCSL is in it’s 125th year of serving children and families in the state.
“The KCSL is a statewide agency providing services to communities that empower youth, strengthen families and prevent child abuse,” KCSL Grant Development Manager Cecilia Douglass said.
The proceeds from Sunday’s breakfast will go towards the important programs and services that support Finney County children and families. Tickets for the event are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Children 10 and under eat free. The advance ticket sales for the $10 price will end on Friday evening for online users and will end on Saturday evening if you purchase your tickets in advance at the Clarion Inn.
Because of the KCSL organization celebrating their 125th year in excistence they’re offering a special deal.
“To commemorate the 125th year we are holding a a special online raffle for a chance to win a 2-year car lease proceeds from this raffle will go towards helping supporting all KCSL prevention education programs,” Douglass said.
The online raffle will close on Monday, December 10th at midnight. The winning ticket will be drawn at Sharp Honda in Topeka on December 13th at 6 p.m. and the winner does not need to be present in order to win.
