Red Demons handled by East in TOC consolation bracket

Dodge City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) The Dodge City High School boys basketball team lost their second in a row in the Tournament of Champions to East 76-58.

The Blue Aces shot 30-51 from the field for 59 percent, while the Red Demons shot just 19-58 for 33 percent. East also controlled the boards out rebounding Dodge City 44-34. Both teams turned it over a ton, East had 32 and Dodge City had 27.

East won the game the game with a complete team effort four players scored 9 points and two scored 8. Clayton Bradley had the best line with 9 points and 7 rebounds. Jayden Finney, Jaylen Randle and Daylan Jones also scored 9 points. Norman Massey and Amos Alford each scored 8.

Hunter Heath led the Red Demons with 14 points and 4 rebounds. Noah Sowers also chipped in with 10 points and 4 rebounds.
