Ray Blackburn

Ray Blackburn, 52, died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at his home in Minneola. 

He was born June 6, 1964 at Dodge City, the son of Raymond and Nadine (Frank) Blackburn. He was a graduate of Dodge City High School and a lifetime area resident. He was a truck driver and drove for numerous area trucking companies. 

Survivors include: his son, Raymond Blackburn, Dodge City; a step-daughter, Stephanie Lamaster; 2 brothers, Bud Blackburn and wife Margaret and Steve Blackburn all of Dodge City; a sister, Tosha Fields, Cimarron; 8 grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joseph Blackburn. 

Memorial service will be 10:30 am Monday, December 5, 2016 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City, with Fr. Wesley Schawe presiding. Inurnment will follow in Appleton Township Cemetery, Minneola. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.
