MANHATTAN, Kan. — With recent events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, K-State Athletics today announced that the annual Powercat Auction has been rescheduled for August 29 from its original April 18 date.

“The Powercat Auction annually is a major fundraising event for K-State Athletics and the Ahearn Fund that brings hundreds of our terrific donors together for one special evening,” Athletics Director Gene Taylor said. “With all of the events surrounding COVID-19 and refraining from large gatherings, we decided to reschedule just before the start of football season as fans get excited for the start of fall.”

More details surrounding the auction will be announced this summer, but those wishing to purchase tickets can contact the Ahearn Fund at 888.232.9074. For all other inquiries or questions, please contact Casey Taylor at ctaylor@kstatesports.com.

Fans gearing up for the 2020 football season are reminded that season tickets are on sale and start at less than $22 per game. All season ticket prices in Bill Snyder Family Stadium remain unchanged for 2020.

Both the ticket office (1.800.221.CATS) and Ahearn Fund office (1.888.232.9074) have staff available to take calls 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Fans can also log into their on-line account or purchase new tickets at kstatesports.com.
