DCIM100MEDIA

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The wintry weather has knocked out power to residents in Dodge City, Bucklin, Montezuma and Copeland. Jerri Imgarten is Manager of Marketing and Communications with Victory Electric.

A great number of customers are affected to the extent the number is not fully known.

That number as of Tuesday morning is now down to 4,400 customer and there has been help brought in to assist with repairs.

Right now there is no estimate time for completion of the repairs.  If you are without power you are advised to go to the Dodge City Community College Student Activities Center where the Salvation Army has pledge to lend any assistance to those who need it.

Imgarten says their office has been flooded with calls, so the main thing she asks is patience.
