Police Warn of Phone Scam; Make Burglary Arrest
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Police are warning you another phone scam has been reported this one takes it to a personal level. The caller demands money as ransom for their child’s kidnapping. If anyone receives this type of call please do not hesitate to inform Garden City Police immediately.
An arrest has been made of a man who is believed to have broken into several Garden City businesses on May 15th. The suspect 26 year old John Osborne is accused of taking 5,000 dollars worth of property from these businesses. Information was relayed to police that the stolen property was being held on the 400 block of Hudson Street. Police reiterate this is an on going investigation and no other information is being released for now.
