Police Beat: Robbery and Minor Injury Accident
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Police worked a minor injury accident and a robbery on Wednesday. The accident Wednesday morning about 10:30 involved the driver of a mini-van and a pedestrian. Officers say the driver went through a stop sign hitting someone walking by. The good news is the pedestrian was treated for minor injuries at St. Catherine Hospital.
Police are on the lookout for a robbery suspect at the Check Into Cash, 505 East Kansas Avenue. An armed suspect entered the business around 9:30 in the morning and stole an undertermined amount of cash. The suspect is a six-foot-three, hispanic man wearing all dark colored clothing. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
