Police Beat: Drug; Reckless Endangerment Arrest in Garden City
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Monday, Garden City Police served an warrant leading to an arrest of a 43 year old man. Timothy Ledesma was taken into custody and is expected to face charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school. The arrest wrapped a two week long investigation by local law enforcement.
Tuesday afternoon shortly before 6, officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of East Mary where a man was chasing another vehicle and attempting to ram the car with his own. Further investigation revealed a two year old child was inside the victims car. 22 year old Manuel Melendez-Davila was taken into custody and could face charges of aggravated assault, child endangerment and reckless driving.
