Police Asking Safety Be Your Top Priority As School Begins

As for those who are new behind the wheel, GCPD Officer Pete De Leon wants teens to understand the responsibility when they get behind the wheel.
Last year was particularly bad for accidents between vehicles and motorists. Officer Pete De Leon believes curbing this trend starts with following the law around school buses.

Also be mindful to look for flashing lights which will tell you school zones are 20MPH.
