On August 13th, the longtime pilot made an error near Cimarron that almost costed him his life.
Flying in a damaged plane, Erhart used his skill and miraculous made it back to the Dodge City airport.
Erhart has a broken collar bone along with some bumps and bruises, but he is okay and is ready to take flight again early next year.
