The Past Can Become Garden City’s Future
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) One man is making his attempt at bringing back a piece of Garden City history. Mark Pamplin is interested in re-opening the old State Theater.
Pamplin’s vision is to make the State Theater viable again.
In order to raise money for the State Theater, touring comedian Don Friesen is in town Saturday. The comic has made appearances on “The Tonight Show” and “Jimmy Kimmell Live”. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the YMCA, Patrick Dugan’s coffee house or Garden City Arts.
