One Injured After a Single Car Crash in Kingman County
(KINGMAN, KS) – A Kansas woman was injured Thursday in western Kansas.
The crash occurred just after 1:30 p.m. on SW 170 Avenue, just north of SW 50 street or 5 miles south of Cunningham on SW 170 Ave in Kingman County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Sharon Swope, 65, Zenda, Ks was traveling southbound on SW 170 Avenue, when she took her eyes off the road to reach for an object within the vehicle. The 1999 Trailblazer then left the roadway, going into the east ditch. The trailblazer then went through a fence and into a field before coming to a stop.
The KHP says Swope might have had a medical condition causing this accident.
