Ollie Williams

Ollie Vona Williams, 90, of Liberal, passed away on March 17, 2018 at the Liberal, KS.

She was born on January 23, 1928 to Saul and Arzania (Jones) McCloyn at Dermott, AR.

On April 28, 2001 she married Supt. Bernadine “B.D.” Williams at Liberal, KS.

She attended school at Tiller Arkansas. After she graduated high school she moved to Long Beach, California. After living in Long Beach for may years she moved to Clearville, Pennsylvania, where she served in her church as a District Missionary of the Altoonia District. She moved to Liberal, Kansas in 2001, where she married Supt. B.D. Williams. She enjoyed catfishing, reading, gardening and singing. She was a member of Bibleway Church of God In Christ, where she served on the Mother’s Board.

Ollie is survived by her loving spouse Supt. B.D. Williams, One Daughter- Willie May Clark and husband Darrell of Ventura, CA; Three Sisters- Edith Keys of Kansas City, KS, Jacquline Johnson and husband Lawrence of Liberal, KS, Ida Grays of Los Angeles, Ca; One Brother- LeRoy Johnson and wife Barbara of Lewisville, TX; Five Step-Daughters, Four Grandchildren, Five Great Grandchildren and One Great-Great Granddaughter; Several Nieces, Nephews and Friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, One Daughter- Catherine Dunn; Four Brothers and Two Sisters.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 22, 2018, 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, KS.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018, 10:30 am at the Bibleway Church of God In Christ, with Superintendent Lawrence Johnson, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Liberal City Cemetery.
