Older Kansas Worker Award
(DODGE CITY) (westernkansasnews.com) -Dodge City man receives Older Kansas Worker Award Fred Rodriguez from Dodge City, was honored on March 30 in Topeka from the Kansas Department of Commerce and the Kansas Department of Labor. Mr Rodriguez was Born in Dodge City, earned his bachelors degree in nursing in 1956 from St. Marys of the Plains College. His jobs included teaching nursing at Dodge City Community College. He also served as the interim director of nursing at the Kansas Soldiers’ Home at Fort Dodge. Most recently, Fred worked full time teaching at the Adult Learning Center of Dodge City.
The Older Kansans Employment Program is a project of the Southwest Kansas Area Agency on Aging and is funded by the Kansas Legislature through the Kansas Department of Commerce.
