OHP: Teen From Hooker Killed in Pedestrian Accident With Car

Hooker, Oklahoma (westernkansasnews.com) The Guymon Daily Herald newspaper reports a 17 year old boy from Hooker, Oklahoma was killed in a pedestrian accident with a car about a mile from his hometown Thursday morning. The accident occurred on US Highway 54.

The Oklahoma State Highway Patrol refuse to release the name of the victim because of his age. but did say the boy ran across the road. The driver was uninjured in the accident. The victim died Friday at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
