Officials Assure Public Proposed Landbank Not a Land Grab
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Finney County and Garden City Commissioners Tuesday night held a meeting to discuss consideration of a landbank for abandoned properties and structures to move them back on the tax rolls. For those concerned about government finding any reason to snag these properties away, City Manager Matt Allen explains there is a high threshold that must be met.
Even with all this property owners can have a good faith attempt to make up on what taxes they owe.
Further discussion will be held next Monday at 1 from the County Building on Ninth Street in Garden City.
