NWS: Snow Storm Truly Broke Mold
(westernkansasnews.com) The National Weather Service predicted this winter storm accurately, but even meteorologist Bill Turner admits it was awful late in the year to have a snow storm.
And if you thought the snow accumulation was bad, they were far worse places to be.
A sharp line cut across Southwest Kansas producing the highest amounts of snowfall from Elkhart to Lakin on to Scott City and up to Colby.
