NW Kansas Man Hospitalized after truck overturns
THOMAS COUNTY – One person was injured after a rollover accident that occurred just after 11 o’clock Monday morning in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford F350 driven by Terry L. Overton, 50, Colby, was eastbound on Interstate 70 one mile east of the Kansas 25 Junction.
The pickup was entering Eastbound on I70 from exit 53. Due to uneven weight distribution, the truck shifted and the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The Truck entered the south ditch causing the vehicle to roll onto its side. The Driver was transported to Colby medical center for minor injuries.
EMS transported Overton to the hospital in Colby. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
