Norma Thomas

Norma Thomas, age 83, passed away at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas on Thursday, July 7, 2016, She was born on January 28, 1933 in Liberal, Kansas the daughter of Frank S. and Lena M. Brown Sperling. She was a member of the FCE, and the First United Methodist Church of Garden City, Kansas.  

Norma worked as a homemaker. 

On August 20, 1950 she married Kenneth Thomas in Scott City, Kansas. He passed away on February 27, 2014.

Other Survivors include:

Four Sons Kenton Thomas of Fortworth, Texas

Mike and Vicki Thomas of Garden City, Kansas

Rick Thomas of Garden City, Kansas

Kevin and Lynette Thomas of Holcomb, Kansas

Ten Grandchildren, and Twelve Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, and one grandson, Ian Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Garden City, Kansas on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. with the family present from 6-8 on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Price and Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.

Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home; 620 N. Main St. Garden City, Kansas 67846.

Interment will be at the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas immediately following services.
