No. 9 Kansas Drubs Richmond
Lawrence, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Jeff Withey collected his 10th career double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds to lead the No. 9 ranked Kansas Jayhawks to an 87-59 rout of the Richmond Spiders Tuesday night at Allen Fieldhouse. Ben McLemore added 14 points in the win, as the Jayhawks shot a blistering 59 percent from the field for the game. Derrick Williams led Richmond (9-3) with 14 points. Kansas (9-1) will play their first true road game of the season, as they face the Ohio State Buckeyes Saturday in Columbus that features a rematch of the national semi-final game from last year.
