Nicholas Andrew Sandoval

Nicholas Andrew Sandoval, 60, died February 7, 2017 at St. Lukes Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on November 10, 1956 at Dodge City, the son of Eutimeo “Tim” Blea-Sandoval and Pilar Moreno. 

Nicholas was born and raised in Dodge City. He was a carpenter and home builder in Colorado. He married Dedra Manis and had two children, Apolonio and Anteria, they later divorced. He later married Rita Sue Torrez at Dodge City and had a son, Nicholas T. Sandoval. Nicholas enjoyed fishing and was a Denver Bronco fan.

He was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe of Dodge City.

Nicholas is survived by his wife, Rita S. Sandoval of Dodge City, son, Apolonio Sandoval and wife Jennifer of Branson, Missouri, daughter, Anteria Sandoval of Loveland, Colorado and son, Nicholas Timothy Sandoval of Dodge City; two step-sons, Hugo Villegas of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Patrick Torrez of Brighton, Colorado; twelve grandchildren, Dominic, Dayanara, Apolonio, Jr., Merrissa, Tyie, Talaya, Leiana, Shennel, Daniel, Donovan, Fabian, and Pedro; two great grandchildren, Kristian and Kaiden, two brothers, Eutimeo “Danny” Sandoval and wife Eunice of Wichita and Anthony Sandoval of Dodge City. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Sandoval.

Vigil service will be at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Friday February 17, 2017 at 6:00 PM. Memorial service will be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Saturday February 18, 2017 at 9:30 AM with Rev. Aneesh Parappanuttu presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place.
