New Student Housing Complex Set to Open at GCCC
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Movers are bringing in the furniture Thursday and the students arrive Saturday. Garden City Community College had walk throughs Tuesday of their new student housing units. The new apartments are located directly across the street from the main campus on Spruce Street.
GCCC President Doctor Herbert Swender has confidence adding this will make the college more attractive to students.
Swender says the weather has been a problem, but the apartments will open up on time. Yard work around the area will be finished in the next few months.
