New Emergency Alert Notification System Approved For Finney County
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Today the Finney County Commission gave their approval on a first alert system for residents. Emergency Management Director Michael Paz-Torres says the estimated cost will be a little less than 15-thousand dollars. The system is designed to notify those who sign up about severe weather or other emergency via the subscribers email, cell phone or other electronic unit. Paz-Torres is in the process of finalizing contracts with the company providing the service.
