Movie to Chronicle Life of a Wheat Farmer

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) He grew up on a dairy farm, but it was not until recently that Conrad Weaver felt compelled to do a documentary on wheat farmers.

That idea turned into a four and a half year project. Friday night Weaver’s documentary film “The Great American Wheat Harvest” is showing at the Sequoyah 8 in Garden City. For those that attend the movie will hit close to home.

Showtime Friday night is 7:30.
